Triangle Care Center

When he started the church, Pastor Jim Whitfield had it on his heart to be able to help people in his congregation who might be in need of food, clothing, furniture, or other items. That's how the Triangle Care Center. It is our desire to developed the Care Center into not just an outreach for the church, but an outreach for the community.

The staff and church members steadily supply the shelves with food and clothing. Those in need of assistance can stop by the Church Office or call 919-846-0470.

Please bring the items listed according to the first letter of your last name (please, no outdated food).
A-F Boxed breakfast cereal; muffin mixes; pancake mixes and syrup; Hamburger Helper; Jell-0 pudding; Jell-0

G-L Applesauce; canned fruit; mayonnaise/Miracle Whip; mustard; ketchup; cans/small boxed fruit juices; instant potatoes

M-R Crackers; canned meats; Stove Top Stuffing mixes; brown sugar; noodles; rice; spaghetti

S-Z Peanut butter; jelly; toilet tissue; Kleenex; laundry soap; fabric softener; toothpaste; dental floss

Volunteer at the Triangle Care Center
The Triangle Care Center is in need of dependable men or women volunteers to work weekdays, especially Tuesdays and Thursdays, who can lift and/or transport furniture and other items. Please fill out a volunteer.
 

Bone marrow donors The ICLA DA SILVA FOUNDATION, the largest recruitment center of Bone marrow donors in the United States will be present at TCC to inform and have a BE THE MATCH registry to help patients with leukemia. This Foundation is continuously expanding its efforts in providing assistance and hope to thousands of patients with this sickness, with a strong focus on minority communities. The Icla da Silva Foundation's mission is to build a diverse marrow donor registry so that every patient has a chance for life. Be part of this campaign, nothing else is required but a sample of your saliva to find out if you can be a potential match for someone in need. 
Patients need donors who are between the ages of 18 and 60, meet the health guidelines and are willing to donate to any patient in need.
All you need to do is:
Complete a registration form with contact information, health history questions and a signed agreement to join the NMDP Registry. To help you complete the form, bring along:

  • Personal identification (such as a driver's license or passport)
  • Contact information for two family members or friends who would know how to reach you in the future if your address changes.
  • Help cover the cost of about $100 to add each new member to the Be The Match Registry. Your tax-deductible gift allows more people to join the registry, giving more patients hope for a cure.

  • Give a swab of cheek cells so your tissue type can be tested.

That's it! Your tissue type is then added to the NMDP Registry. Doctors search our Registry when they need to find a donor for their patients

Operation Christmas ChildOperation Christmas Child brings joy and hope to children in desperate situations worldwide through simple, gift-filled shoe boxes and evangelistic materials that tell the Good News of God’s love.
For the next several weeks we will be collecting materials and shoe boxes to send to children all over the world. You and your family can pack your own shoe box, or you can bring materials that, along with other’s donation, will get packed into a shoe box.
