Children’s Ministry

TCC Kids’ Ministry is not like any other Children’s Ministry Program you will ever see. Every week, we offer an exciting Bible based program for children of all ages to attend.
Our mission and purpose at TCC Kids revolve around three things, they are:

• Pull In: At TCC Kids we want to pull kids out of the world and pull them into church. With the excitement of games, live bands, puppets, costume characters, friends and more. TCC kids is the place Kids want to be!
• Plug Into: God’s presence and power through worship and the ministry of the Holy Spirit. Plug into God’ s Word through drama, puppet skits, object lessons and illustrated sermons that hit home and plug into relationships with leaders that love them and friends they can grow strong with.
• Empower: We see boys and girls as power filled vessels for Jesus. We want to empower them to use their God given gifts to glorify Him. Empower them to be bold ministers of the Gospel and empower them to serve faithfully in the church through the ministry of helps.

If you have children between the ages of newborn and 5th grade, your next step after arrival will be check in the kids in our full service station, conveniently located in the main lobby.

At our Sunday Services, TCC Kidz is a place for children to come and experience God and learn His Word in a fun and creative environment. At TCC Kidz we utilize;
-Hands on Group activities teach Biblical truth.
-High energy Praise & Worship.
-Large group dramas and puppet shows
-Small group breakouts that reinforce the lesson.

Sunday Mornings
Nursery & Toddlers (6months-3 years old)
The Nursery department is where is all begins. The Nursery & Toddlers is where your children will be cared for, loved and know there is a big God that loves them and created them. Even at these young ages, kids can learn about God and have fun while doing it.
All Starz Preschool-(3 years old-Kindergarten)
In All Starz Preschool, our kids team big truths about God. Here, they learning how God loves them, how he created them, and the Jesus want to be their best friend forever. There simple truths will prepare them for their next big step in life. Each week through crafts, activities, drama skits and puppet shows children will remember valuable lessons that they can take home with them.

Big City Studio
(First-Fifth Grade)
Big City Studio is where your children will begin to realize just how important the Bible is in their everyday life. Through exciting fun songs, dramas, and games, lids will learn exactly what God teaches in His Word and how to apply them in their lives at home, school, with friends and with their family.

• Every child must be check in at our Children’s Registration desk in the main lobby prior to the start of service. Please let us know of any special concerns or allergy if that would important to know.
• You will be given a security tag. The number on the tag must match your child’s tag after the service when you pick them up from class.
• Once your child is checked-in, your will be directed to the appropriate drop off classroom for your child.  If for some reason you cannot escort your child to class please notify one of our guest service team members and they will arrange a host to take them to class.
• All of our volunteers and ministry leaders are passionate about teaching your child how to follow Jesus and are background checked prior to starting their service in the ministry.
• All volunteers are trained in CPR and First Aid, SIDS, Hand Washing Procedures, and Diaper Changing Procedures.

Wednesday Evenings

Impact Girls Ministry
Mpact Girls Clubs introduce girls to Jesus Christ and trains them to follow Him.   It is a place for girls in the church to invite their friends to meet Jesus, gather with other girls who love God, and be mentored by a leader who cares about them. The program uses unit lessons to teach spiritual and biblical life principles while having fun earning awards, going on adventures such as camping, visiting museums, attending concerts, taking professional business tours and performing community services. The purpose of Mpact Girls Clubs is:
To win girls to Jesus Christ through love and acceptance.
To teach them to obey everything Jesus commanded us-developing girls spiritually and mentally
To provide encouragement, support, and accountability through lasting Christian relationships
To provide an environment for girls to develop their gifts and abilities
To acquaint them with the Great Commission of Jesus Christ our Lord.

What Is Royal Rangers?
Royal Rangers is one of America’s largest and foremost adventure ministries designed for boys and young men 5 to 17 years of age.

The three fold purpose of Royal Rangers is
1. To evangelize your son for Christ
2. To develop your son for Christ – spiritually, physically, mentally, and socially
3. To keep your son for Christ and in the Church

Royal Rangers consists of indoor and outdoor activities. These activities include Bible study and instruction in Christian living, education in life skills, first aid, nature study, trips, crafts, games, physical fitness, leadership experiences, service opportunities, ceremonies, awards and group events with other Royal Ranger Outposts. These activities work together to help your son grow into a young man who has a basic knowledge of the Bible and who is ready to take his place as a Christian leader.

When Do We Meet?
We meet at Triangle Christian Center every Sunday to 3:30-5:00 p.m. for Middle & High school and 5:30-7:00 p.m. for Kindergarten through 5th grade. Regular attendance at these meetings is encouraged as it helps with your son’s feeling of belonging to the group and with the overall learning experience.  We also have various weekend activities.

Snacks
We ask that parents bring snacks & bottles for children under two. Children two and older will be provided with crackers and fruit during service. Occasionally, an alternate snack will be offering to reinforce the lesson. If so, a note will be posted on the classroom door.

In Big City Studio we give out candy and prizes for things pertaining to the lesson. There may also be times when another type of food I will be offered with the lesson as well.
